Ivan Ho – 2024 Dux

The highest academic accolade at King’s College, the Dux Award, was presented to Ivan Ho (Year 13, Major). Ivan embodies the essence of excellence, serving as a role model for both his peers and teachers.

Academically, Ivan’s accomplishments are extraordinary. He consistently excelled in A-Level Chemistry, Music, and Physics, earning top grades and accolades, including being named Top in New Zealand and Top in the World for AS Music.

Ivan’s influence extended well beyond the classroom. As a talented musician, he played leading roles in various choral and instrumental ensembles, earning him the Senior Musician of the Year award and the Jeremy Christian Cup for Commitment to Music. His leadership shone brightly as a Senior Prefect and Choir Leader, while his contributions to debating and service initiatives further showcased his multifaceted talents and dedication.

Ivan’s calm and composed leadership has left an indelible mark on King’s College. We are confident he will achieve incredible things in the future, and we wish him all the very best as he embarks on the next chapter of his journey.

Congratulations once again to all our award recipients for their remarkable achievements and go well, King’s College seniors!
