Application fee
There is an application fee of NZD$350 applicable to all students applying for entry to King's College.
Tuition and boarding fees
International students need to pay the full tuition and boarding fees in advance in order to fulfil the requirements of the New Zealand Immigration Service. Payment of annual fees must be made by electronic transfer or credit card by the 30th of November of the preceding year.
The tuition and boarding fees for 2025 (in NZD) are as follows:

A homestay option is offered at NZD$400/week. Should the services of a professional accommodation agent be required, an additional placement fee will apply.
Enrolment fee
An enrolment fee of NZD$1,700 is payable once you accept a place to join King’s.
Incidentals fee
There is an incidentals fee of NZD$5,000. This includes:
- Uniform - NZD$1,200
- Alumni fee - NZD$759
- Classroom expenses & trips - NZD$1,762
- Friends Subscription NZD$50
- Contingency - NZD$650
Please note the incidentals fee does not include costs for insurance, stationery, student visa processing, or exam fees. Fees are effective for enrolments received from January 2024 to December 2024.
Refunds
Any student planning to leave before the end of the Year 13 programme is required to give a full term's notice. Where appropriate notice has been given, the College will refund the prepaid fees covering the time that the student is no longer at the College.
