Female Students

Student Services

Whānau can rest assured that King’s students have a range of services available to them, to keep them healthy, happy, and well-supported while at College.

From the dedicated Health Centre to the far-reaching pastoral care, we provide a holistic support network to each and every pupil. In 2017, the College also supported the formation of its first Student Health Council, a student-led initiative aimed at providing a voice for students and promoting involvement in decisions and projects that impact the health and wellbeing of our community.

Health Centre – Te Puna Whaiora

A team of nurses, supported by the College doctor, offers onsite medical support to day and boarding students. This works alongside our other holistic wellbeing services to ensure that all of our young people are thriving in mind, body, and spirit.

The Career Centre

The purpose-designed careers space at King’s College is equipped to support and encourage all students in their career aspirations.

Located on the top floor of the Centennial Centre, it is packed with resources (and people) that can guide students towards career options that suit their interests and aptitudes.

Counselling services

Counselling services are available to all students. They can assist young people to better understand their experience and explore ways to grow and improve. Counsellors also offer resources via education, referral, and strategies to assist students in their development during the adolescent years.

Student Protection Policy

It's important to us to keep our students safe and healthy.

The Learning Centre

Extra numeracy and literacy support is available to students who need it at the Learning Centre. This space allows them to catch up, study, and receive specialised tutoring and help to thrive.
