The Headmasters Garden Party

The Friends of King's College Association

Established in 1955, the Friends of King’s College Association is a volunteer organisation with the goal of supporting the College in all its endeavours and enhancing the student experience.

The Friends foster a strong sense of community and whanaungatanga, and are an integral and very valued part of King’s as a whole.

All parents are members of the Friends, and each family pays a small annual subscription to assist the Friends programme. The Friends plan a great calendar of events each year, including the Headmaster’s Garden Party, Dad’s Dinner, Ladies' Lunch, Art Exhibitions, Golf Day and other fundraising events. Each year, there are plenty of opportunities to join the Friends Committee or volunteer - both of these are great ways to meet other parents, contribute to the school, and benefit from the strong King’s community network.

We look forward to seeing you at King’s events and sharing some truly memorable times together.

The Friends of King's College Annual Report and financial statements

Through the generosity and commitment of the King’s College community who support our Friends events and fundraising projects, we have supported many initiatives across the school, as detailed in our Annual report.

We have hosted a variety of annual events over the past year, including Ladies' Lunch, Dad’s Dinner, Golf Day and the Headmaster’s Garden Party. These events are now well-cemented in our College calendar and are extremely well-attended.
