We are hosting a Rugby Parents Information Afternoon for our whole rugby community on Sunday 17 March and we would love you to come along. You will hear from Scott Palmer, and our new First XV Coach Ian Robinson as well as watching some King's training and rugby expertise. It's also a great chance to meet other parents and ask any questions you have about the upcoming season.
This afternoon will be casual with a BBQ dinner and refreshments in the Golf Clubhouse after the training sessions. As both junior and senior students will be participating in the afternoon coaching and games, we invite everyone to come along from 2pm-6pm to watch the rugby and then stay and meet our coaching staff for the year.
Timings:
2pm - 2.30pm - Position specific coaching for Junior grades led by First XV squad members
2.30pm - 3pm - Conditioning games for Juniors
2.45pm - 4.15pm - Senior rugby open session. Families are encouraged to stay and watch.
4.15pm - 5pm - All parents, players and coaching staff enjoy BBQ & refreshments at the Golf Clubhouse.
5:00pm to 6:00pm – Information event regarding Junior & Senior Rugby for 2024
Please arrive at 1:45pm to ensure that the players are ready to start training/coaching at 2pm. Players to wear King's College training kit. The dress code for the afternoon is casual. Please access the College via the Golf Avenue gate and park in our Student Carpark.
